When a fortune teller predicts change, eleven-year-old Kateri is not surprised. She's already grappling with a new home, a new school, and a bully named Clive. As her best friend back home replaces her with a newcomer, the timeline ticks on a school project and Clive pushes her to the breaking point.
What else could possibly go wrong?!?
Kateri O'Leary and the Computer Mouse is 156 pages, comprised of 26 chapters. Each chapter features a whimsical black and white illustration by the talented artist Helena Crevel, and the cover showcases her vibrant art.
I was delighted that Helena agreed to illustrate this book, as I was so thrilled with the artwork she did for my Binoculars picture book. And I'm very pleased to report that Helena has agreed to illustrate the next book in my Kateri O'Leary series!!
The book cover design is by local graphic artist Barbara Schramm. This is my third cover designed by Barbara, and I hope she'll take on my next one!! When she sends me cover proposals, my difficulty is in finalizing my choice, as she gives me such tantalizingly creative options.
Local author Alexandra Amor formatted my book with professional precision, and generously shared her considerable knowledge about the POD world of publishing.
